Find us

Coming from the airport? We recommend UBER/BOLT — taxis are usually more expensive and tend to overcharge.

Copy this into your Uber/Bolt app so you don't end up in the wrong place:

Travessa do Rosário de Santa Clara nº 19 — 3rd floor, right-hand door. We're in the historic centre, right next to the Feira da Ladra.

The building door

The building door is the dark green one, number 19. If it's not open, press the button below — or send us a message on Airbnb and we'll open it remotely.

Once the door is open, go up to the last floor — the apartment is the 3rd floor, right-hand door.

Get your keys

Next to the door on the last floor, on your right side, you'll find a small key locker:

Inside there are two keys: the big key opens the apartment door, the small key opens the building door.

Open the apartment

  • Insert the key with the smooth / flat surface facing upwards
  • Rotate it counterclockwise 90° (¼ turn) until it's vertical
  • Then pull the door towards you
  • If the key doesn't turn vertical, the door won't open — try again gently

Coffee machine

After inserting a new capsule, make sure the used capsule falls into the lower deposit. If it doesn't fall, it can bend the new capsule — and no coffee comes out.

Washing machine

Fully mechanical: select the program and temperature, then turn the machine on. When the program ends, it stops — but won't drain the water inside yet. At that point, advance the program by one click to start the water removal. Once it stops again, the door unlocks about a minute later.

Ceiling window

To open or close the blind, press the handle while sliding it — otherwise the blind won't move.

Hot summer days

During heat waves, use the fan and open the ceiling window so hot air can escape — the balcony door helps circulation too. Still warm? The couch folds out into a big bed right next to the AC.

Quiet hours

Silence time starts at 22h — please be mindful of the neighbours. Thank you!

Paid street parking

The whole area around the apartment is paid street parking — and some zones are residents-only, so check the signs.

Market days — Tuesdays & Saturdays

The Feira da Ladra happens right here. On the nights before market days (Monday and Friday nights), some areas forbid parking and cars get towed.

Free when there's no market

The market area is free of charge when there's no market: Sundays, Mondays (not at night), Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays (not at night).
